Nikkei Asia has rebranded as the “Voice of the Asian Century” this week with a freshly developed news app on our Pugpig Bolt platform. Nikkei Asia is a multi award-winning, leading English-language publication with a uniquely Asian perspective. The publication’s readership and subscription numbers have soared since its transition to a digital-first news organisation back in 2017. The enhanced app will benefit subscribers with exclusive news and insights on Asia and a customisable reading experience.
Pugpig Bolt will enable Nikkei Asia to use their new app to delve deeper into the world of events. The publication will kick off a series of webinars in October, covering topics from “The US-China Conflict” to “The Asian Century in 2040”. Nikkei Asia share our views that the future of publishing is not only bright, but that it’ll be made more exciting with increased digitalisation. Editor-in-Chief Shigesaburo Okumura stated “Digitalization will serve as an indispensable tool for the new and improved Nikkei Asia”.
