MNA Digital launch the Express & Star and Shropshire Star on Pugpig

British regional news has found a digital home on Pugpig with the addition of the Express & Star (West Midlands) and Shropshire Star (Shropshire and mid-Wales) to our platforms. Both regional newspapers are operated as part of MNA Media and MNA Digital.

Both titles kicked off their use of our Pugpig Publish platform in July and were live just a few short weeks later offering digital editions as part of their subscription packages. The apps allow subscribers to read the latest news, sport and entertainment on their smartphone, tablet and also access a desktop reader. MNA Digital’s new apps have proved hugely popular with readers. Martin Wright, MNA’s Editor-in-Chief, noted not only a large boost in user figures for the titles since launching on Pugpig, but also commented how advertising companies working with MNA Digital are now confident that they can increase their online presence.
